So last night SNL did not disappoint Nicki was in a sketch and in the Digital Short with the Lonely Island. The opening monologue was a moment that only could happen on SNL and it was great to see the very awkward Jesse Eisenberg and Mark Zuckerberg together on the screen talking about The Social Network. Funny that Bride of Blackenstein sketch looks really familiar.

Nicki Minaj, Jesse Eisenberg and maybe Mark Zukerberg on SNL
This has all the makings of a classic. Jesse Eisenberg might be one of the weirdest most interesting people on the planet. I have know clue if he is funny, but any moment with a dude who has been playing another dude and the actual dude is always entertaining. Also the multiple faces of Nicki and judging from Jay Pharoah's Tweets it seems that Nicki is going to do a sketch.

Funny or Fly EXCLUSIVE: KanYe West Runaway Soundboard: by NAJLE.COM and ME!!!!
So a couple months ago during the Kanye West feat. Pusha T performance on SNL. I got the idea that someone might want to play the M.P.C. like Kanye West. Unlike Kanye I can't afford a M.P.C. so I linked up with Matt from NAJLE.COM to create the ultimate web game for Kanye fans and stans alike.

Jay Pharoah going in Once Again
Jay killing it on SNL again...but what's up with the audience. To there defense, the type of humor in this skit was not the usual SNL type joke. It seems like the laughs would be in different spots on another show.

Jay Pharoah on SNL
Funny or Fly favorite Jay Pharoah did his thing last night doing a flawless impression of Will Smith. I got the feeling that this is just the begining hopefully he can get more written around his talents cause we already know the boy is hilarious.

Jay Pharoah is signed to Saturday Night Live
The Comic's Comic has learned that Jay Pharoah, a young stand-up comedian from Virginia's Tidewater who has a full arsenal of impersonations — including one of President Barack Obama (and yes, he'd likely do it instead of Fred Armisen!) — is just about a done deal to become the fourth new cast member to join the on-air ranks when SNL's 36th season begins on Sept. 25, 2010.

If you haven't seen the news here is him doing Jay on 106

Throwback Thursday

This thursday and for the next couple of Thursdays I plan on doing something a little different. In stead of highlighting traditional Stand up comedians i will take a look at some of my favorite members of the Not Ready for Primetime Players. This week it will be Garrett Morris. You may know him as uncle Junior from The Jamie Foxx Show others may know him as Stan Martin's boss on Martin, but Garrett was the only black cast member of the original SNL cast in 1975.Often history looks at him as a stereotype and the token black member of the cast. This has been satired by In Living Color.
Here is some Christmas cheer from the OG SNL cast
